“Housing, Community and Care beyond the Great East Japan Earthquake” Lecture
On 27th February 2020, Yasuaki Onoda and Haruka Tsukuda presented their scholarly and planning activities in relation to the reconstruction of the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011.
Unveiling the challenges and processes in various aspects, they reflected on the role of planners and the researchers to tackle this unprecedented disaster, with a fruitful discussion with the dean Chirstophe Girot and Marie Glaser from ETH Wohnforum – ETH CASE.
The presentation was held directly by Tsukuda, and via Skype by Onoda in the special situation of COVID-19 shift.
