Exhibition House Behaviorology Ticino – Villa Saroli, Lugano
On June 14, 2024, we opened the exhibition “House Behaviorology Ticino” at the Limonaia of Villa Saroli in Lugano.
During the vernissage, we had the pleasure of a welcome from the Honorable Raoul Ghisletta, representing the City of Lugano, and Ludovia Molo, director of i2a. We were also honored by an insightful introduction from Professor Momoyo Kaijima of ETH Zurich and Nicola Navone, Deputy Director of the Archivio del Moderno.
The exhibition, which will stay open till the 22nd of August, showcases the work of second-year students from the Houses Behaviorology in Ticino semester. Throughout the semester, these students meticulously analyzed various single-family houses across the Canton of Ticino, spanning different historical periods. This research provided the foundation for their own innovative housing projects aimed at densifying the city of Lugano.
The exhibition was organized by the Chair of Architecture Behaviorology at ETH Zurich, and with invaluable support from i2a, Istituto Internazionale di Architettura Per la cultura del territorio.
