- The two building volumes act as an observatory for the habitants to let their gaze wander through the fruit trees and observe birds, butterflies or sheep. The privacy of the southeast, garden-facing common rooms can be individually adjusted by turning the partitions accordingly.
- Three different spatial settings help the inhabitants to adapt. A veil of vertical wooden slats wraps the glass façade, softening its presence while shielding birds and providing sun control and privacy.
- Children on the way to school can use the new pedestrian crossing to the idyllic paths through the orchard and if they‘re lucky they even encounter a sheep.
