The House in the Orchard is developed around the concepts of orientation and modularity. Closed towards the street and open to neighborhood, it creates a community garden for gatherings and activities such as apple picking and juice production.
Alternating east-west oriented modules, in reinforced concrete for the sleeping areas and in wood for the living areas are directly connected to the walkway, creating flexible living spaces.
The project promotes social interaction and sharing through the walkway, a communal veranda, and the apple garden.
