The Bridge – A Blend of Community and Privacy

  • The design of the multigenerational house aims to create an inclusive, sustainable living space that fosters interaction while respecting privacy. At its heart lies the idea of bridging diverse lifestyles through a thoughtful balance of public and private spaces.
  • The public spaces, especially the flexible café, act as the social hub of the project. A glass brick wall separates the café from the corridor leading to the apartments. Each floor features a shared kitchen and dining area, encouraging neighborly bonds through collective cooking and dining experiences.
  • The main structure, made primarily of timber, showcases sustainable building practices while seamlessly integrating a modern aesthetic. Exposed wooden elements highlight the building's natural warmth, while plastered surfaces and white facades lend a clean, contemporary look.
