Chair of
Architectural Behaviorology

In 2025 and 2026, the Chair of Architectural Behaviorology worked with the Reallabor Jurapark Aargau to co-design and build furniture with rural schools in Aargau. Each year, students partnered with a different school, working directly with pupils, teachers, and local craftspeople to design and construct a piece of furniture suited to their site. Across both years, the projects show how including the people who will actually use a space in the design and construction process can produce architecture that is both practical and genuinely lived in.
