Public Drawing – Pond of Cycles
- Waldlabor
- If you are not paying close attention, you will almost walk past this little hidden oasis. The enchanted pond, slightly off the wide and busy forest path, is a retreat not only for a large variety of wildlife but also for the residents of the surrounding city.
- Rainwater seeps through the soil, allowing life to flourish, while the stream flowing along the pond replenishes and carries water from the pond, continuing nature’s cycle. Frogs, dragonflies, and newts depend on the water, while trees, reeds, and mushrooms form an interconnected web of life, exchanging nutrients and sheltering countless creatures.
- The three old wooden benches invite you to linger, and a small path along the shore allows you to explore this ever-changing world, where plants, animals, and fungi thrive in harmony.
