Public Drawing – Of Hidden Flows and Relations

  • Waldlabor
  • At the northeastern edge of Hönggerwald, the ravine functions like a windpipe. Cold air descends with the Holderbach stream toward Affoltern, circulating through beech trunks, animal paths and decomposing wood.
  • Wind functions as metabolism, carrying pollen and messages, the basis of life in the forest. The concrete bridge from the 1960s spans the corridor with pragmatic clarity, yet it too is inhaled into the system.
  • Wind passes through both built and natural actors, orchestrating the valley as a shared organ of climate.
