Public Drawing – Oaken Buffer

  • Waldlabor
  • Traversing the football field, I strike the forest's edge. It’s threshold intent on protecting what lays behind. Carrying the restless noise and suspended dust of the city. Grappling with the majestic branches of monumental pedunculate oaks, I bend the space, and it in turn bends me into being.
  • For a moment, I lift the leaves, exposing fragments of the clouds I drag along. As I approach those who linger in the forest, beside the rustling delivery rider, I find myself filtered and softened by the edges of the mighty oaks. At times I threaten ; at times I soothe.
  • I exist as a gradient from force to whisper, constantly seeking resonance. I am the wind.
