- The clearing is deliberately introduced to guide and accelerate moving air across the terrain.
- Along this linear opening, a distinct transitional zone emerges: a band of drier, more dynamic atmospheric conditions that contrasts with the cooler, more humid, and sheltered microclimates of the adjacent, denser forest.
