House Horizon

  • Masans, Chur
  • The House Horizon presents itself as a multi-generational housing project that accommodates up to 20 residents across a range of ages and living conditions. The design prioritizes flexibility, adaptability, and community engagement while maintaining a clear organization.
  • A key feature of the apartments is the use of flexible sliding doors. These elements enable residents to reconfigure their units, adapting them seamlessly from one-bedroom to two-bedroom apartments. This adaptability responds to shifting needs, ensuring long-term functionality.
  • The private living spaces are crafted from warm wood, creating a comfortable and inviting environment while emphasizing sustainability. In contrast, the communal space on the lower level is constructed from concrete, providing a solid and functional foundation that conveys openness.
