The House "Heavy and Light" redefines multigenerational living by uniting the principles of community and sustainability. It is based on the concept of contrasts — “Heavy” and “Light”— which play a central role in both materiality and spatial organization.
On the third floor of the concrete core lies the heart of the house: an open communal space with four kitchens and a dining area. From the communal space, there is direct access to a spacious rooftop terrace located on the roofs of the wooden apartments.
Through its clear division of materials and functions, this concept not only promotes multigenerational living but also encourages ecological awareness. "Heavy and Light" creates a living environment that unites stability, lightness, and nature with community and individuality.
