- Haus Monti aims to combat the rising fiends of the present day: Rents that eat away half of one's paycheck and mortgages that will never be paid off throughout one's lifetime. The key strategy is reducing heated area and increasing density. Corridors are replaced with loggias.
- The typology seeks to create a comfortable standard of living even with dense attributes. The primary construction is masonry supported by a concrete frame. However the attic is constructed of a disassemblable wood framework. This makes it easier to add more floors in the future if needed.
- In conclusion, Haus Monti provides a fresh and liberating standard of life. It allows people to focus on their own aspirations rather than be burdened by the weight of financing the roof over their heads. Lungs are filled with fresh air from the surrounding nature and stomachs are filled by food grown and cooked by neighbors.
