Furniture – The Wind Lantern
- Waldlabor
- The Wind Lantern is a 7-metre-diameter wooden ring suspended by ropes between trees. A central fireplace anchors the space where people gather to sit, grill, and spend time together.
- Like sails around a mast, 22 panels made from reclaimed sailing cloths hang down from the wooden structure. Sometimes the curtains fly high; at other times, they hang loose or move gently. The space is constantly changing, allowing the wind to portray itself visually.
- You can change how the installation behaves. Roll panels up or leave them hanging to guide the flow of the wind. Open sections to let the wind pass through, or keep them down to create a more sheltered area.
