Furniture – (In)visible Connection

  • Hönggerberg, Zürich
  • The project is a site-specific fence installation at the threshold of the forest, designed to create a visual and physical dialogue between a partly artificial pond and the stream that it flows into.
  • The defining feature of the fence, its zigzag shape, is a deliberate choice for both aesthetic and functional reasons. The angled geometry creates a self-bracing form that naturally stabilises the structure without the need for deep foundations or artificial reinforcements.
  • This project blends functionality with creative expression. It defines the space while preserving a sense of openness, fostering connection while inviting moments of pause.
