- Many people use the narrow concrete bridge every day to cross from one side to the other. Can the bridge be more than that? A place to pause. In the middle of the forest, the Holderbach below, the treetops in the wind above.
- Staggered timber frames structure the bridge as a spatial sequence. Without imposing themselves, they invite you to perceive the crossing consciously. Toward the middle the frames rise, reaching their highest point above the deepest part of the ravine.
- Movement across the bridge slows down, the sails change the view and invite observation. The intervention celebrates the passage without fuss, and the wind in the forest becomes tangible.
