The residential complex, located on a sloped site in Masans, Graubünden, consists of four living units and one common unit, designed to accommodate a variety of 20 residents and promote interaction among them.
The courtyards are arranged on different levels, following the natural slope of the site. These levels are connected by stairs and ramps, ensuring accessibility for all residents. Large windows overlooking the courtyards allow for engagement between the indoor and outdoor spaces.
The roof of the houses is tilted toward the courtyards, symbolizing openness as well as putting a focus on the courtyards. The complex integrates harmoniously with the surrounding buildings, complementing existing spaces while creating new ones.
