Case Study – Haus Salathé – 1967
- A family home built in three months, designed to be adaptable for the family’s needs and wants. The lightweight ground floor construction with non-loadbearing prefabricated walls floats between a solid concrete base and louvered roof that is supported by steel profiles embedded in concrete.
- This offers the opportunity to enlarge the space if the family grows. This adjustability is also given in the open interior space, allowing a versatile use – where play area meets the work area.
