Casa Terrazza Oasi

  • Masans, Chur
  • ‘CASA TERRAZZA OASI’ is oriented towards the surrounding houses. The garden and communal areas face south-east and benefit from the afternoon sun. The glass centre is accessed through the garden or via the bridge from the street. From here the apartments are accessed horizontally or vertically.
  • The glass façade can be opened to create an even stronger connection between the interior and exterior spaces, emphasising the horizontal and vertical alignment. The kitchen thus forms the transition between public and private space and at the same time creates an arrival area before reaching the living room and private rooms.
  • Just as an oasis is a source of life, the centre of the house is a source and a place of gathering and living. The degree of privacy is visible not only in the material construction, but also from the outside. The bigger windows in the living room and kitchen create a stronger connection to the outside space.
