- This multigenerational housing project in Masans, Chur, is designed for 20 residents, placing a strong emphasis on long-term sustainability and adaptability. The primary structural element is a load-bearing facade made of standardized steel profiles.
- Inside, the layout is designed to adapt to changing needs over time. The inner walls are entirely non-load-bearing, allowing for easy reconfiguration of apartments. The pipe walls are positioned on a 150 cm x 150 cm grid, ensuring the entire complex is wheelchair-accessible.
- The building is accessed directly from the street level, where a terraced stone pathway transitions into a garden below. By combining sustainable materials, flexible design, and community-focused elements, this housing complex is built to serve both its residents and the Masans community for generations to come.
