Bridging Spaces

  • Masans, Chur
  • Approaching the house, its form reveals a careful harmony with the sloping terrain, with its volumes thoughtfully shifted to adapt to the natural contours of the land. This design accommodates 20 people, divided into four interconnected units, each offering a balance of private and shared spaces.
  • Entry begins at the top floor, where the private apartments are located. The apartments open onto terraces that project outward offering expansive views of the surrounding landscape and fostering interaction between neighbors. Descending the staircase, you arrive at the ground floor where the atmosphere shifts to a more social and open environment.
  • Each unit connects seamlessly to a shared garden that serves as the vibrant heart of the community. Inside the ground floor, the open layout reflects the use of materials in a way that enhances flow and function. Standing in the garden, the house feels alive with a sense of community.
