Between the Trees

- Oberwil
- Between the meadow and the tree crowns, the architecture steps back to let the landscape lead. The exis;ng orchard becomes the origin of the design: four elevated ;mber houses with modular extensions gather around the trees, framing rather than compe;ng with them.
- Point founda;ons protect the soil, while the garden enhances biodiversity through targeted interven;ons such as hedgehog steps along the street, sand islands for wild bees, and deadwood habitats beneath the houses.
- The result is architecture that adapts and evolves over ;me.
