Public Drawing Workshop
Workshop “Learning from the Views of Zurich” at ETHZ
During a summer school at the ETH Zurich, we have analysed the historical, cultural and social aspects of several public spaces in Zurich. Starting from views (“Vedute”) from the 18th and 19th century, students of the University of Queensland (Australia), the University uf Tsukuba (Japan), and the ETH Zurich have produced eight large scale drawings of said public spaces. At the end of the workshop, the Zurich Office for City Planing and the Chair of Architectural Behaviorology have jointly organised a presentation and discussion of the drawings in the Stadtmodellraum.
