- IntiMATE provides a place of recreation that creates different levels of privacy for individual actors and small groups and thereby contrasts the exposed public space around.
- The bamboo frame and textiles create different situations, in which one can behave in multiple ways; the closed scenario to relax alone and hide between textile and the open scenario allowing for small groups to gather and chat either lying or sitting in the textile or beneath. Depending on the usage, the textile can be pulled out or stowed away.
- On the floor, bamboo mats provide protection from the floor to gather under the structure. The bamboo rods are knotted together so that the structure can be built and taken apart without quality deterioration.
