Furniture – Green Line

  • ETH ONA, Oerlikon
  • In the center of the green line, which is located in front of the ONA, is the herb garden, which should give the students and other possible users the possibility to spice up their food, to brew fresh tea or simply to upgrade a glass of water.
  • The roof that frames the green line is designed to provide the right amount of water to the plants through its materiality and shape, and to allow enough sun for the plants to grow, while still providing enough shade through the ability to close the curtains.
  • To make the green line more understandable for the visitors, all elements that can be operated by the user are coloured green and lead like a red thread but in green through the project, as green is the colour of relaxation, harmony and productivity and is also reflected in the colour of the usable herbs.
