Case Study – House Sonnenfeldstrasse – Loelinger Strub, 2000

  • Zollikon, Zürich
  • The house is situated in a 1960s suburban neighbourhood full of single family homes. It stands out being one of the only buildings without a pitched roof and with a modern outlook.
  • Inside, the house offers plenty of space for a single upper-class family, including some accessories such as a chimney and built in sauna - both with their own ventilation system.
  • The type of construction allowed for a lot of large (corner-)windows, that were placed in a questionable way, sometimes intersecting with each other, affecting the use of the space due to the opening angles.
