A Market for Interlaken

- The construction of a market building for Interlaken in the backyard areas of the stores on the Bahnhofstrasse.
- The project converts the backyard areas of the stores on the Bahnhofstrasse used for parking into a large square. It consists of two market stall volumes with four market units that can be rented seasonally by local producers. It becomes a meeting place for local people as well as tourists.
- The bracing works inside the volume and the roof structure opens to the outside. The building lives on solar inputs and is ventilated manually. This building is mostly a shelter from the weather and is therefore pleasant for a short stay. A staircase leads to the roof of the volume, where the owners of the market stalls have their place of retreat.
