- Interlaken, Bern, Switzerland
- A pavilion for a restaurant reactivating lawns.
- From the Previous research of restaurants in Interlaken, we found there is a harsh division of locations, size and experience among different restaurants. Smaller ones always mean less view and a narrower environment. The pavilion restaurant creates a new typology for small restaurants: open, flexible and enjoyable.
- Different space layers are designed to provide different protection. The kitchen and logistic area are well insulated for workers and food, a small courtyard works as a threshold between street and kitchen, also provides a relaxing space for workers. The revolving door with light translucent polycarbonate sheets makes the façade totally open.
