Public Drawing โ Opportunity of Growth
- Waldlabor
- A forest area damaged by a 2021 storm, requiring intervention to remove affected trees. The site is divided between an experimental reforestation zone (Arboretum) and a naturally regenerating section, creating a space for ecological study and landscape observation.
- The Arboretum introduces new tree species, while the adjacent area evolves freely. This contrast between controlled forestry and natural processes creates a hybrid landscape where visitors develop informal uses, such as gathering spots and exploratory paths.
- Waldlabor shows how natural disasters can create new spatial conditions. By merging forestry management with spontaneous regeneration, it highlights landscape architecture as an interface between ecological recovery and human appropriation of space.
