Furniture – Growing Chairs

  • Hönggerberg, Zürich
  • Nestled along the forest edge, an arboretum unfolds in several bays, inviting visitors to explore and connect with the native plants. Each bay offers a unique opportunity to discover the surrounding flora in a natural, immersive setting.
  • The project complements these bays by providing thoughtfully designed resting spots. These include two stools, a bench, and a sunbed, all constructed with a cohesive aesthetic but tailored to their specific uses. Each element harmonizes with the individuality of its bay, enhancing the visitor's experience.
  • The goal is to draw people into these natural alcoves, encouraging them to linger, relax, and appreciate the rich diversity of plant life that the arboretum showcases.
