Le Case Circondariali

  • Viganello, Lugano
  • Le Case Circondariali is a residential complex of five houses, each housing four to six people. The design includes three levels: a studio apartment on the lowest floor, a community area with kitchen and living spaces on the main floor, and a family apartment above. The compact layout encourages interaction among diverse residents.
  • The building’s circular staircase and brutalist style set it apart from nearby structures. A central plaza surrounded by the houses and a picturesque garden provides communal space while blending with the natural landscape.
  • The design integrates modernity with nature, incorporating natural stone façades and allowing free-roaming donkeys to enhance the connection with the environment.
