Furniture – The Shelf

  • ETH Hönggerberg, HIL Terrace
  • The Shelf is a wooden furniture system that nestles in the HIL Terrace. Vertical wooden columns, arranged on a grid structure, allow the user to freely set wooden panels and thus create different uses.
  • The modular panels are marked in red colour to differentiate them from fixed to non-modular panels while the vertical ones are fixed and only serve as a stiffening.
  • Through its inscriptions, it playfully teach the visitor about the local forest.
